It's Time to Pull the Motor

This project has endless possibilities and helps to fill cold, wet, days here in Lowell. I am constantly checking eBay for original parts to replace the rusted, stressed, or missing. That can be a little risky and every once in a while I get suckered and buy somebodies cleverly listed junk. I have found that most of the new parts on line are made in China and are inferior to old Harley stock. I purchased a muffler from a Power Seller , which had a hole in the side and was welded together by spot welds down the entire length they were over powered and had little spikes sticking up that were sharp and should have been removed at the factory. Rob from _____ was quick to offer me a refund and when he received the muffler back told me the thing was in perfect shape and would have to charge me a restocking fee. When it was all said and done I was out $65.00 and he had a profit of just over $12.00. You live and learn. So now I only buy from the non Power Sellers, like you and me "Yard Sailors " the folks who are cleaning out the garage and are not out to, in my opinion, rip people off.
