Today I took Jessie and Juanita to Alton Baker Park. We strolled around and checked out the sights, smells and sounds.not to mention the paws. I wonder are paws sensitive like finger tips?. Alton Baker never looks the same, sometimes like today the river swells and floods the bike path. Trees float by and the locals count them by "There goes Another One" A new signs ask that you don't feed the birds. That would be Canadian geese ducks and seagulls. As much as I like birds. I think it's best for the health of all involved. Cheers. The parks dept has a massive clean-up on their hands. The paths look like they haven't been cleaned in weeks. It was a real challenge to avoid all those bird bombs. Some as big as what a medium dog might produce.
A few years back a local up scale hotel that was located at the park's entrance started playing the sound of seagulls from the eaves of their building. Well before long their beautiful green shingle roof was white from bird doo. It was a right out of A.H. book "The birds".
