When I left Oregon last November I headed south to spend a a few weeks with the family in Sacramento and Foresthill, but that was just the beginning. I planed to leave oregon behind tell the spring of 2011 and return ready to reopen Dexter Dan's hot dog stand after the rains stopped.
These are some of the pictures that I took along the way.
Something to Google about.
It has been a very long time since my dogs and I set out last October but the road has cometo an end and we have gone full circle. Thats right we are back in Oregon and hope to stay for a long, long time.
Adulthood, in this sense, includes obtaining a full-time job, living on one's own and eventually having kids. The study, featured in the publication Revista Española de Investigaciones Sociológicas, found this six-year gap in both sexes, as women reached adult independence around 28 years of age rather than previous estimates of 22. Men ended up reaching independence at 30 rather than 24 years of age.

The device, which will be mounted high on the wall in a dormitory housing some 65 prisoners, does no damage but it's ray penetrates the skin about 1/64th of an inch over an area about the size of a CD, causing a sensation that's been equated to opening an extremely hot oven. The pain stops when the target gets out of the way of the beam. It is controlled remotely via a joystick and a camera mounted on the ray itself. Deputies at Pitchess think it should help break up fights between inmates and keep deputies from having to hurl themselves into harm's way when inmates get unruly.

One day last week while driving to work I watched as a SUV that was directly behind me drifted into the on coming lane of a two lane hwy at nearly 60 mph with a fully loaded semi coming strait on. The diesel driver locked his breaks and began to swerve at the same time the young driver in the SUV had completely crossed the highway and had left the pavement momentarily then turned back only to roll over onto the drivers side skidding to a stop just a few feet from the now stopped diesel and me in my Blazer.
